Ways to Receive Support

Sacred Passage offers two distinct but complementary pathways. Each can be shaped around individual wishes, family needs and the care already in place.

Holistic End-of-Life Support

Compassionate, non-medical support for individuals and families seeking comfort, connection, reflection and meaningful preparation. This may include Reiki and other gentle holistic practices, therapeutic music and sound, emotional and spiritual support, life review, family conversations, and personalized rituals or ceremonies.

Supportive Palliative & End-of-Life Nursing

Nursing support provided within the appropriate scope of my LPN practice and in coordination with the individual's existing healthcare team. Depending on the person's needs and established care arrangements, this may include nursing support, observation and communication about changes, medication-related support where appropriate, and education and guidance for family caregivers.

This service is intended to complement—not replace—the care provided by the person's hospice, palliative care or other healthcare team.

Sacred Passage may be appropriate for:

  • Individuals approaching the end of life who would appreciate additional emotional, spiritual, holistic or nursing support.

  • Family members and caregivers seeking guidance, education and compassionate support.

  • Families preparing for important conversations, honoring personal wishes or creating a peaceful environment.

Supportive Palliative & End-of-Life Nursing

With more than 30 years of nursing experience, including hospice and end-of-life care, I offer compassionate nursing support to individuals and families during this deeply personal time. Services may include prescribed medication administration, medication education, observing and communicating changes or concerns, and working collaboratively with the individual’s hospice and nursing team.

Before services begin, I will connect with the existing care team to establish an agreed-upon approach that supports the individual’s needs and promotes continuity of care. My intention is to offer thoughtful, intermittent nursing support that works in harmony with the care already in place, bringing an added layer of comfort, communication, and reassurance to individuals and their families.

Holistic Comfort & Support

Each visit is personalized. Depending on the person's wishes, needs and circumstances, selected practices may include:

Reiki & Energy Support
Gentle, consent-based support for relaxation, comfort and peaceful connection.

Sound Healing & Therapeutic Music
Calming sounds, instruments, music, vocal tones or intentional listening to create space for rest and reflection.

Flower Essence Support
Individualized flower essence work offered as a complementary practice for emotional reflection and self-awareness.

Aromatherapy & Gentle Herbal Comfort
Thoughtfully selected sensory comforts, such as familiar herbal teas or warm herbal compresses, when appropriate.

Guided Meditation & Relaxation
Gentle grounding, reflection, breathing and opportunities for quiet presence.

Gentle Hand & Foot Reflex Support
Comfort-focused touch, offered with permission and adapted to the individual's preferences.

Sacred Ritual & Ceremony
Personalized moments of prayer, blessing, reflection, music or ritual shaped around the person's beliefs and wishes.

Life Review & Legacy Support
An opportunity to honor stories, relationships, memories, values and what a person wishes to share or leave behind.

Not every practice is included in every visit. Each session has a primary intention, with selected approaches offered according to the person's wishes and the time available.

Sacred Passage

End-of-Life Education, Guidance & Holistic Support

Prepare • Guide • Support

A space for comfort, peace, connection and compassionate presence.

Sacred Passage offers compassionate support to individuals and families navigating the end-of-life journey. Grounded in more than 30 years of nursing experience, including hospice care, and enriched by holistic healing practices and spiritual training, my approach honors each person's wishes, beliefs, relationships and individual experience.

The end-of-life journey is deeply personal. It may bring questions, uncertainty, important conversations and a desire to make the time meaningful. Individuals and families may need a compassionate presence, guidance in preparing for what lies ahead, holistic comfort practices, or additional nursing support alongside the care already being provided by their healthcare team.

Through Sacred Passage, I bring together my experience as a nurse and holistic healing practitioner, and ordained interfaith celebrant/minister to support comfort, connection, dignity and meaning during this important time.

The Heart of Sacred Passage

Sacred Passage is guided by three intentions:

PREPARE — Explore wishes, personal values and important conversations. Consider the environment you want to create and develop a personalized Sacred Vigil Plan when appropriate.

GUIDE — Offer education, thoughtful conversation and support in identifying questions to bring to your hospice or healthcare team, helping individuals and families feel more informed and prepared.

SUPPORT — Provide compassionate presence, emotional and spiritual support, holistic comfort practices and, when appropriate, supportive nursing services that complement the existing plan of care.

provided within the appropriate scope of my LPN practice and in coordination with the individual's existing healthcare team. Depending on the person's needs and established care arrangements, this may include nursing assistance, observation and communication about changes, medication-related support where appropriate, and education and guidance for family caregivers.

This service is intended to complement—not replace—the care provided by the person's hospice, palliative care or other healthcare team.

An Important Note About Care

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with more than 30 years of nursing experience, including hospice and end-of-life care, I offer supportive nursing, guidance and education within the appropriate scope of the care already being provided by hospice, physicians and other healthcare professionals. Sacred Ways of Honoring Life

  • Sacred Celebrations & Vigils

  • Sacred Ceremonies & Remembrances

Sacred Vigils

An honoring of presence, comfort, and connection.

Each Sacred Passage offering is thoughtfully arranged around the needs, wishes, and circumstances of the individual and family. Because every gathering and journey is unique, services are priced individually according to the type of support, time involved, and preparation needed.

I welcome a conversation to explore what you have in mind and help you understand the options available. Sacred Vigil offers a gentle, intentional space for the final stage of life's journey. It is an opportunity to surround a person with care, familiar comforts, meaningful sounds, treasured objects, prayer or quiet reflection — whatever brings a sense of peace and connection.

Together, we can thoughtfully prepare for this time, honoring the person's wishes while supporting family and loved ones. Through compassionate presence and selected holistic practices, the vigil creates room for stillness, tenderness, and the simple yet profound gift of being together.

Sacred Celebrations

Honoring a life, the love it holds, and the stories it leaves behind.

Life is made of stories, relationships, treasured memories, and moments that shape who we are. A Sacred Celebration offers space to honor these gifts and share what might otherwise remain unspoken.

Whether gathering to express love and gratitude, tell stories, share music, offer blessings, or simply be together, each celebration is shaped around the person and the people who hold them dear. It is an opportunity to recognize a life in its fullness and create meaningful moments of connection.

Sacred Ceremonies & Remembrances

Creating meaningful rituals for life's transitions and the love that continues.

There are times when we long for a ritual to help us mark a transition, offer a blessing, express our love, or remember someone dear to us. Sacred Ceremonies & Remembrances are personally created to reflect individual beliefs, spiritual traditions, and the meaning of the moment.

A ceremony might be a quiet bedside blessing, a prayer or reading, a gathering with music and shared memories, or a remembrance that honors the life of someone who has died. Each is approached with care and reverence, making room for grief, gratitude, reflection, and the enduring bonds of love.

As an ordained interfaith minister, I welcome the opportunity to help create ceremonies that honor each person's beliefs and values with openness and respect.

A Personal Invitation

Every journey is different, and every family brings its own hopes, questions, and needs. Sacred Passage offers a compassionate space to explore what would feel most meaningful to you and those you love.

Each offering is available as a separately arranged service, with its own preparation, scope, and pricing. We can begin with a conversation about your wishes and the kind of support you are seeking.

May this time be held with tenderness, dignity, and reverence for the life being honored.

Sacred Vigils, Sacred Celebrations, and Sacred Ceremonies & Remembrances are available as individually arranged services. Pricing varies according to the nature of the service, time involved, and preparation required. Please reach out to discuss your needs.
